Kris Nair Ascendum CEO Top Tech Leader in Cincinnati

Ascendum Solutions President and CEO Kris Nair was recognized as a top technology leader in Cincinnati Magazine’s 300 Most Powerful Business Leaders list. The annual list features top leaders from various industries in the greater Cincinnati area.

“Given the growth in business activity and influence, it wasn’t difficult to identify 300 powerful business leaders fto feature in this inaugural Cincinnati 300 publication,” said Cincinnati Magazine Editor-in-Chief John Fox. “The real challenge came in limiting our scope to 300. We sought broad representation across the business community.”

The Ascendum team congratulates all of the outstanding leaders who are dedicated to innovating their businesses and helping to make Cincinnati an exceptional city in which to work and live. Below are brief excepts from Kris’ interview.

Why did you choose your line of work? (long version)

It evolved from my work at technology companies in early career. After my degree in Electrical Engineering and management education from several academies, I started managing sales and business for technology companies. I developed a keen interest in technology, innovation and transformation of the industry and started following the initiatives of leaders in this space. The opportunity to drive several acquisitions and divestments as the Chief Strategy Officer of a large corporation provided me further insights into technology and the startup world.

Today I am proud and excited to serve as President and CEO of Ascendum. I enjoy collaborating with exceptional organizations to accelerate their business success and leading a strong team of technologists.
