2013 Blue Ash Corporation of the Year
, March 21, 2013
Ascendum Solutions was honored today by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the City of Blue Ash as it was named Blue Ash Corporation of the Year. This annual award recognizes a company whose success dovetails with the City’s motto – aspire, achieve, and advance – and today they can add to that list ‘ascend!’ “This is my favorite time of the year,” said Mark Weber, mayor of Blue Ash. “We get to shine some light on great companies like Ascendum and I’m just proud of our City and the fact that it’s home to such an innovative company – we’re becoming the Silicon Valley of Cincinnati!” Ascendum was selected from dozens of corporations headquartered within Blue Ash city limits for its leadership, strategic planning, customer/market focus, internal (human resources) focus, and job creation. Ascendum established its headquarters in Blue Ash in 2008 and two years ago purchased outright its current building. A frequent recipient of business accolades, Ascendum ranks consistently as one of Cincinnati’s Fast 55 (fastest growing companies) by the Business Courier and received Best Places to Work honors two years in a row. “Five years ago when we came into the market, we had our choice of property in the whole Cincinnati area,” offers Mahendra Vora, Ascendum’s CEO and Chairman of the Board, “and nowhere could match the access and amenities Blue Ash offers. There’s every restaurant in America represented within a 10 minute drive; it’s easy to get to for clients; and employees love perks like the Blue Ash Rec Center and Summer Concert Series. We’re humbled, grateful, and honored to be honored!” The Vora Innovation Center sits on Alliance Road at the corner of Reed Hartman and Pfeiffer Road just across from Summit Park. It’s home base for almost 300 Ascendum employees spread throughout the region, as well as dedicated client development teams, client training facilities, and headquarters for the InterAlliance.
