Mr. Mahendra Vora
Chairman
Mahendra Vora is a veteran entrepreneur who has over 18 years of experience in leading large cutting-edge software initiatives. He has helped co-found and merge with many high tech startups to Fortune 500 companies, including ICC (sold to Attachmate), Pioneer Systems (acquired by Unisys) and SecureIT (Sold to VeriSign). Vora has held senior executive positions at Fortune 500 IT firms and serves on the Board of Directors of many high-tech companies. Mr. Vora has extensive experience in working with and developing Information Technology solutions for many multi-billion dollar organizations across the world. Over the past 2 decades, Mr. Vora has contributed significantly to the computer industry in developing and delivering strategies, architecture and technologies to transition to distributed and Internet-based computing.
Mahendra was the finalist for the 2001 & 2002 "Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award" and a recipient of the 2000 "Entrepreneur Deal Maker of the Year" from the Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Vora holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications from India. |

Viral Vora
President - Software Solutions & Services
Viral Vora is a technocrat with strong business acumen,
having been exposed to several large businesses in his
family and his study-work tenure in the USA. Viral leads
the Software Solutions & Services Division of Ascendum.
Viral has a strong technical background in Computer
Science that helps him in relating easily to the technically
inclined, and good business management skills to relate
to the business pain points of potential clients. Viral
brings to the company a rich mixture of the drive &
passion of youth and a mature business mind.
Viral currently works out of Ascendum’s offices in the
USA, but travels extensively between its ODC’s in Bangalore,
India. Viral holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics
Engineering from Gujarat, India and a Master’s Degree
in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
Prior to joining Ascendum, Viral worked at Intelliseek
in Cincinnati. |

Chandresh J Shah
Director – Business Development & Pharma Practice
Chandresh J Shah is responsible for spearheading and
coordinating all sales activities of Ascendum in the
USA.
Prior to this he was the Vice President of Global Marketing
and Business Development and a director of i-engineering.com.
He was responsible for worldwide marketing and business
development. He was also the managing partner of Engineering
Software Labs ("Eslab"), which was acquired
by i-engineering.com in October of 1999. Previously
(June 1996 to December 1998), Mr. Shah was director
of worldwide sales and marketing of Cimsoftek, Inc.
of New Jersey (USA), including e-commerce which was
34% of the company’s revenue.
Prior thereto (June 1988 to February 1996), he was the
owner and operator of Daytech Designs, an engineering
consulting firm located in India. Daytech Designs completed
large engineering consulting projects for the Government
of India and employed over 50 people.
Prior to running Daytech Designs, Mr. Shah was the corporate
CAD coordinator at Whirlpool Corporation (January 1985
to May 1988), located in Benton Harbor, Michigan (USA).
Mr. Shah received a Bachelor of Science Degree from
Sardar Patel University (West India) in 1983 and a Masters
of Science Degree from the University of Michigan, located
in Ann Arbor, Michigan, (USA) in 1985. |
